Mauchline Holy Fair is one of the oldest village fairs in Scotland, Dating back to at least the 1700s and immortalised in Robert Burns’ poem of the same name. It is a community-run event catering to 10,000+ visitors each year. Mauchline Holy Fair is geared towards the Family. No Alcohol stalls are permitted. It is a child friendly, family friendly inclusive event for folk to come and peruse the stalls, enjoy the funfair and see the bands and other entertainments.
